Which browsers can translate websites? 

Many internet browsers can automatically translate websites, including:

  • Edge (Microsoft)
  • Safari (Apple)
  • Firefox (Mozilla, version 118 and later)
  • Chrome (Google)

You will often see a translation icon in the address bar or at the top of the screen. You can also find the translation feature in the browser settings. In some cases, the browser will automatically ask (via a pop-up) whether you would like to translate the page. 
Usually, it also works to select the text > right-click > choose the translate option.

Vaak ziet u een vertaalpictogram in de adresbalk bovenaan het scherm.  
U kunt de vertaalfunctie ook vinden via Instellingen.  
Soms vraagt de browser automatisch (pop-up) of u de pagina wilt laten vertalen.  
Meestal werkt het ook om de tekst te selecteren > klik rechtermuisknop > kies vertaaloptie
